If you do not complete the authentication process, Teletrack will be unable to place a freeze on your file. After Teletrack verifies your identity, it will place a security freeze on your Teletrack consumer file. Upon receipt of your request, you will receive an email from Teletrack requesting you to complete certain steps to authenticate your identity. While the law varies from state to state, in general, you may request a security freeze to be placed upon your consumer file by completing the initial request form to the left. It is important you remember this number or password or put it in a safe place, because you may to give it to the agency if you want to lift the credit freeze.įor additional information about credit freezes, please see the FTC’s website. ![]() The credit agencies must send written confirmation of the credit freeze to you and should provide you with a personal identification number or password that you will use to temporarily lift or remove a credit freeze.
